I have lived 10 miles from the south unit of the park for 15 years. The horses are in bands all over the park. If you drive slowly through the park in the morning and late afternoon you should see horses. You can follow my fb page at #wildkind_photos on fb. I post pictures of the horses and other animals I see every time I go.
Lots of good hiking with well marked trails and maps near the entrances.
Yes there is a camping and rv areas
Elkhorn camp is a nice site but for an RV I'd suggest wannagan it has less foliage at the sites

Not sure of your question, however, it is one of the first national parks. There are several national psrks, wilderness areas and national forests.
It's North Dakota, has snowed every month but August but sees low 90s regularly in the summer! All depends how the wind blows.

Yes, it is possible to bike on the roads, but not on any of the trails. The park was one of the least crowded I've been to and the roads are wide enough for cars to pass. Check out the park website for tips about biking
